Dr. Susanne Fengler
Dr. Susanne Fengler, born in 1971, is a professor of international journalism at the University of Dortmund and director of the Erich Brost Institute for International Journalism (www.brost.org). She is the project coordinator of the EU-funded research project MediaAcT, a comparative research project on media accountability which combines research teams from 12 European and 2 Arabic countries (http://www.mediaact.eu/). She is also the Associate Editor of the book series Kompaktwissen Journalismus. Her research focuses on international comparative journalism studies, political journalism, and the economic theory of journalism.
